The covenants of the Eternal Conflict
Hordes & Choirs
No immortal fights alone for long. Demons band into Hordes, Angels into Choirs, each led by its own officers, sworn to its Arch, and ranked by glory and living strength.

Strength in numbers
How Covenants Work
The chain of command
| Choir (Angels) | Horde (Demons) | |
|---|---|---|
| Sators | The Empyrean Reaper | The Prime Evil |
| Ruler of the side | Archangel of each Domain | Arch Demon of each Legion |
| Leader | Cardinal | Chieftain |
| Second | Herald | Chief Captain |
| Third | Acolyte | Centurion |
| Without a covenant | Deviant | Heretic |
Heretics and Deviants stand outside the order of their side, and may not engage in criminal acts.
Earning glory
- Defeating enemies of the opposite side earns the covenant experience.
- Covenants lose 500 experience every day: only active covenants keep their level.
- Criminal acts against your own side cost the covenant dearly: a criminal attack costs 30, a criminal kill costs 50,000.
Covenant levels & blessings
| Level | Experience | Blessing |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0 | - |
| 2 | 10,000 | +100 Armor |
| 3 | 50,000 | +2% Damage |
| 4 | 100,000 | +150 Armor |
| 5 | 200,000 | +5% Damage |
| 6 | 400,000 | +200 Armor |
| 7 | 1,000,000 | +1 Max Heal Potion Limit |
| 8 | 1,800,000 | Slightly Increased Brightness/Blood Gain when feeding |
| 9 | 2,800,000 | +2 Mana Potions Limit and +5% Damage to the Raid Boss(es) [NPCs] |
| 10 | 10,000,000 | +100 Spell Shield |
Each level keeps the blessings of the levels below it: a Level 6 covenant has +450 Armor and +7% Damage in all.
Lead a covenant of your own
Demons apply for a Horde, Angels for a Choir. You need the support of an Arch of your side: read the requirements and send your application to them.
