Ƈαιя Ɲαуα'ιℓ (caireach) having left the throne room together with Arch Guy she sighs in relief, her heart still pounding away in her chest while she takes in a deep breath of air. With a quick nod to the Arch and a couple well wishes she spreads her wings open wide and takes off into the air, determined to get started on her preparations for the task as soon as possible. Her head running over the task given, before thinking about the potion she is to make. Her right hand subconsciously moving to the pocket in her dress, a proud smile on her face as she can feel the feather through the soft fabric. After a few minutes she reaches choir land and moves towards the ground, gracefully landing near the big tree, away from all the skilling objects so she could sit and think in peace about her next move. Seeing as she already obtained the Empyrean Reaper's feather the next 2 items to get would be a tear of the Artifact, her own brightness would be easily enough to donate into the mixture once creating it. Settling herself into the grass, her back leaning against the tree while she closes her eyes for a few seconds and she lets her mind run over the task at hand. "A tear of the Artifact eh? Should I bore it into crying.. or shall I form a party, hoping it will shed a tear at defeat?" A soft sigh before she opens her eyes again, her violet eyes shimmering while a burning passion starts to form inside of her, her fingers moving allowing electricity to crackle between them and her lips curl into a smirk at the thought of kicking the Artifact's butt once more. "It has been decided.. a raid party it will be to get what I need and progress on with this task!"
Using her wings to jump back up on her feet she launches a bolt of energy into the sky, her lips curling into a smirk at the thought of what comes next. Plucking a couple of feathers from her wings she blows on them, using her angelic powers to relay a message to a several few angels that she trusts with her life, informing them to gather at the channeling crystal while she herself heads back home to pick up her armor and jewelry. Letting her wings take her up into the air once more she closes her eyes just a few seconds, breathing in the sweet scent carried through the air from the blooming flowers at Choir's land before she turns into the air and heads home, her wings carrying her as fast as she can and she hums a song. Luckily she made home near the Choir's land, far away enough for privacy, close by enough to be there in no time should it need defending or her presence required otherwise. Landing quickly at the door she pushes it open swiftly, making her way inside, straight towards the mannequin which holds her battle suit. Undoing her dress she tosses it on the bed, stretching her muscles some before starting the tedious task of putting on the suit. The thick fabric hugging tightly around her figure while she pulls up the zipper at the front, her arms making it through the sleeves before she pulls it up even further. Moving her body some in the suit she gets comfortable once more in the tight fabric before picking up the lunarsteel pauldrons and moving to the mirror next to her closet. Carefully placing them on her shoulders, one by one, she straps them in place before picking up the headband. Her pride, the winged headband, carefully forged out of lunarsteel, tempered and shaped over and over and over again until it had the desired shape. Placing it on her head she turns back towards the mirror, carefully draping her hair around it while making sure the wings remained visible. Smiling at the mirrored image of herself she nods, moving to get her boots from next to the mannequin and put them on, oh how she hates boots but it wouldn't make much sense going into battle bare feet.. would it? Zipping them up either ways before she cracks her neck she then moves and grabs her dual swords from the rack, carefully placing the sheathed weapons on her back before stepping towards her door, remembering last second she should bring a vial with her to contain the tear. She quickly grabs a pendant out of her dresser and puts it around her neck, sliding the cold steel under the fabric of her suit against her skin and she shivers before making her way towards the door once more. A sudden whim of nostalgia hitting her, making her turn around just one more time and her eyes scan the room, knowing very well the dangers up ahead, not the Artifact, she wasn't worried there however the task presented to her by the Empyrean Reaper was not without danger at all. Taking a deep breath once more she turns around, swinging the door open and unfolding her wings before leaping into the air to make her way towards the channeling crystal to meet up with her party.
After several minutes she turns, making her way further upwards towards the heavens and a few more minutes later the floating islands show up, one of them containing the structure with the crystal. Picking up some speed she rushes over to the party already waiting, a grin on her face as she lands graceful as ever. "Thank you for coming everyone! Sorry for being fashionably late, I had to make sure I was wearing my armor, wouldn't want to ruin my new dress!" Warm laughter at her words while she quickly forms the party, making sure everyone is ready while they channel before the crystal. Typical banter between the group while they wait for their powers to be fully charged before making way to the portal and heading over to meet the Artifact, her hand resting over the pendant under her suit whilst she says a quick prayer to the Heavens hoping it will shed at least a singular tear as it becomes faded. Stepping through the portal as last of her party, closing the ranks she makes sure they are not being followed. Once at the other side she indicates the others to get ready and take position while she herself goes to undo the protection around the Artifact, making him invulnerable till that is dealt with. Quickly disabling the protection she hurries herself to join the group, signaling a strategy to the members before they charge into battle. Whilst one part of the group is tasked with distracting the Artifact she herself leads the other part of the group and she starts to channel a flame strike while the others shoot energy bolts. Watching some of the attacks land, while others fizzle in the air she signals everyone to prepare to dodge, circles forming on the ground beneath their feet as the Artifact attacks them.
Watching her group jump out of the circles she too leaps out of one, barely dodging something that looked rather painful had it hit. While the distraction party reclaims the Artifacts attention she starts to channel another flame, hearing the others behind her casting energy bolts again. Should these hit that will take at least a chunk of health from the Artifact, but to not exhaust their powers too quickly she decides that the next round will be done with simple smite attacks. Signaling her party to switch over to hud attacks for the time being her eyes scan the Artifact, his health running lower as it creeps towards the halfway mark. While her team throws angelic smites his way she herself prepares a battle momentum and she grins when the protective shield shows up around him once more after her attack landing target. Signaling to one of the members of her attack party she points at the bright obelisk not far away, the pulsating power coming from it protecting the Artifact from any further damage and she darts off across the land to the furthest away obelisk to disable the shield. Putting her palms against the object she closes her eyes, letting her own angelic powers battle the pulsating power till it dims down. Opening her eyes she sees the shield around the Artifact fading, indicating the other obelisk too was disabled and she rushes back to the rest of the team who are still playing dodge on his attacks. Indicating to the others to keep up with hud attacks, only throwing spells in between every now and then she starts to cast another flame strike, hoping to do a good deal of damage on him should it land.
Slowly but surely the Artifact starts to lose more and more health, getting closer to becoming faded and her heart starts to pound in her chest once more, the moment she was waiting for was getting close now. Scanning the Artifact she notices that he is but one attack away from becoming faded and she signals everyone else to back off before throwing a battle momentum his way. Watching the attack land she rushes over, pulling the pendant from underneath her suit and she pops open the little lock before kneeling next to the Artifact. "I'm sorry about that, but it is extremely important that I get a tear from you. Your sacrifice will be appreciated." She whispers softly at the Artifact, holding the pendant out towards his face to catch a singular teardrop that's rolling down it's cheek. Carefully closing the pendant she puts it back underneath the fabric of her suit, her hand resting on the Artifacts shoulder for a few seconds before she gets up to return to her raiding party. "marvelously done guys! Let's all go home, check our loot and don't forget to head into the mortal realm for some blessing! Especially those of you that took a couple more hits!" A playful wink met by laughter before the all take off into the air and go their own ways to check the spoils they got from faded the Artifact, all except herself of course because now that she had both the feather from the Empyrean Reaper's wings as well as a tear from the Artifact all she needed was 200 of her own brightness so she could finally make the potion required for her big task.
Making her way home she places her right hand over the pendant and smiles, excited about the next step of her journey. Seeing her house show up in the distance she picks up the speed some, rushing home in pure excitement. Landing at her doorstep she swings the door open quickly, moving around her room to grab the alchemy set she needs to brew potions and she sets everything out on her desk. Popping one of the health potions she keeps on her shelves to restore the bits of brightness she lost knowing that she will need some of it for the potion. Carefully arranging the stills and cauldrons on her desk she grins to herself, grabbing a cloth from the dresser to make sure the items are all properly cleaned to avoid any contamination in the potion, the heavens know what that could do to her! Polishing the cauldrons some she thinks about how she wants to go about making the potion, the logical step to take would be mixing the brightness and tear of the Artifact first, before putting in the Empyrean Reapers feather in. Nodding at that idea she puts the cauldrons down, hanging the cloth over her shoulder before turning around to make her way to the red dress she was wearing at the meeting. Carefully taking out the feather she then makes her way back to the desk, placing it next to one of the cauldrons before placing her right hand over one of them to donate 200 brightness into it. Once that is done she pulls the pendant from underneath her suit and lets the teardrop fall into the cauldron with her own essence. She then picks up a long silver spoon and stirs the mixture carefully for a few seconds before picking up the feather. "Here goes nothing I suppose, there is no turning back now." Dropping the feather into the cauldron a puff of smoke appears and the mixture starts to slightly change color, a pulsating white light coming from it and she leans up to get a vial from the shelves. Using the spoon she fills the vial, making sure not to leave any of the mixture in the cauldron before she corks it and goes to clean the cauldron. Nobody every came to her place but rather safe than sorry, it could create problems if someone got their hands on this potion. After finishing up the cleaning she puts the cauldron and other appliances away before picking up the vial from her desk. Slightly hesitant she then goes to sit on her bed, the potion still pulsating inside the vial and for the first time since accepting the quest she wonders about what will happen. Spreading her wings open wide she plucks a feather from them, embedding a message into the feather just in case she would not make it back from the other realm, she wanted to make sure that nobody would feel at fault should something go wrong. After doing so she lays down on her bed, uncorking the vial with a deep breath. “By the Heavens, I hope this works out well.” Drinking the potion in one go before closing her eyes, her head resting on the pillow until the slumber sets upon her.
Groaning softly she opens up her eyes and it takes a few seconds before they get adjusted to the darkness around her, further down what seems to be a hallway she can see some light flickering. Pushing herself up from the stone floor she pats herself down, her battle suit covered in dust and she sighs. Raising her awareness and perception her eyes adjust even further to the darkness around her and she vaguely senses the entity the Empyrean Reaper warned her about however she can't pinpoint it's location and she chalks it up to her powers working differently in this realm, something she should keep in mind should she run in with whatever thing guards the scroll. Trailing her fingers along one of the walls she wonders how she can ensure that she won't get lost, perhaps she could leave traces of her brightness.. it was worth the try at least. Engraving a sign into the wall with her own angel powers she nods before turning her gaze down the hallway, determined to find the scroll now that she was this close already. Every corner that she took she would make sure to leave a mark, hoping it would be enough to find her way back through this insane maze. After several dead ends, removing her markings and what seemed hours she stumbled upon a poorly lit large room. Despite her gut feeling warning her she steps into the room where her eyes get drawn into the far corner, a faintly pulsating glow coming from what seems the rocks of the wall. Her eyes narrowing in curiosity she makes her way towards the far wall, carefully removing a couple of bricks to create a gap and she almost shouts in excitement when she spots the scroll. “This has to be what the Empyrean Reaper was talking about!!” Her hushed voice unable to mask the excitement from her discovery as she carefully picks the scroll up from it's hiding spot. Right as she moves to turn around and make her way back through the maze she hears a loud screeching noise coming from somewhere and her heart drops for a few.
Was the entity roaming this labyrinth able to sense the fact she picked up the scroll? If so that means it would be coming for her, fast! Her mind racing a hundred miles an hour she leans against the wall and takes a deep breath, first steps first.. she should make sure that it was going to be less easy to detect her, then she has to make it through the maze and find a way to wake from her slumber so she could take the scroll to the Empyrean Reaper. Nodding firmly she decides that casting an incognito spell on herself would not be the worst idea, perhaps that would buy her some time. A few seconds later the spell is complete and she moves across the room, back into the halls towards the first marking on the wall, indicating she should take a left turn here. With every corner she takes she starts to feel more at ease, so far so good.. no sign of the entity thus far! Just when she thinks that she escaped the entity she notices something moving from the corner of her eye, her heart skipping a beat as the shape takes form. Unwilling to wait and see what it is she hides around the next corner, pressing herself almost into the wall while she holds her breath. With her heart pounding she closes her eyes, desperately praying that the entity won't hear or detect her.. or the scroll! Hearing a lot of scratching and shuffling noises coming from the hall she was just in she resists the urge to peek around the corner, this was not the time for curiosity, she had to make sure she'd get back safely! Opening her eyes again she looks around, trying to spot a marking as that would indicate where to go next and she almost whimpers when she notices the darn thing is in the hall opposing where she is hiding, meaning she would have to sneak across without the entity spotting her. Contemplating her options she settles on the idea of trying to cause a distraction so she casts an energy bolt and aims it at the wall down the hallway where the entity is in, luckily enough for her it had it's back towards her position. While a part of the wall crumbles down it's head snaps that direction and slowly moves away from her.
Waiting patiently she watches the entity move further away and once she's confident there's enough space between them she dashes across, touching the marking with her palm as she passes it to clear it while she keeps running forward. Only after taking a couple corners she slows down, allowing herself to catch her breath for a few while she perks her ears trying to find out if the entity was following her. Due to her being so overly focused on what the entity was doing she did not notice the incognito spell had started to wear off and she starts walking again, following the markings on the walls with a smile on her face. Clinging the scroll to her chest for a bit she sighs in relief, at least she made it this far and it couldn't possibly be too much further now so maybe, just maybe she could make it out of here alive. Just when she turns another corner and notices there are no more markings up ahead she hears the screeching sound of the entity again. Dashing through the hall she touches the last marking and looks around to find a way out of this realm. “Darn it! How am I going to leave this place?!” Cussing at herself she kicks some dust up from the ground when a snarling sound behind her gives her the shivers. Twirling around on the spot she sees the entity coming closer, flaming red eyes peering her direction as it seems to glide along the floor in her direction. Once again she clings the scroll against her chest, taking a couple steps back while it comes closer and closer until she feels her back touch the wall. Spreading her wings wide open, ready to leap and try to dodge the thing she mutters at herself “Think Cair think!! We've come too close to become food for this thing now!” As her mind runs over many options she leaps up in the air, her wings carrying her and she dashes over the entity's head down the hallway. Thinking about the potion she starts to form a plan, if her brightness was linked to getting in this place, perhaps she could use it to get out of it as well. Landing in a cross road of hallways she stretches her right arm out, palm facing down while she allows some of her brightness to take form and surely enough it starts to make a line towards her right. Running down the hall she watches the line move position, indicating a left turn here. Simply following the guidance she makes her way through the maze, her left hand pressing the scroll against her chest until she reaches a big double door. Pushing it open without thinking she moves forward, a blinding light surrounding her and she closes her eyes.
The next moment she opens her eyes there's still light, however this time more familiar. Blinking a few times she starts to regain her vision, actually looking up at her ceiling and she jolts up in her bed. The scroll still in her left hand she jumps up and dances on her bed, she was overjoyed that she actually made it, thank the Heavens she was home! Not even bothering to change her outfit into something more formal she dashes at her door and quickly opens it, her wings spreading as she does so she instantly leaps into the air. Flying back towards the Empyrean Reaper's office as quickly as she can her heart pounds as though it's going to jump out of her chest any second now. Landing in the grass at the skilling area she takes a deep breath, taking a moment to straighten herself out before making way towards the prominent building. Opening the doors she steps inside, making her way towards the room she last spoke with the Empyrean Reaper. Seeing as the doors are closed she firmly knocks on them before speaking up. “Empyrean Reaper, I am sorry to disturb you. It is Caireach, I have come to present that what you told me to find.” Taking a step back she waits until it was her turn to be seen once more.
